Tennis Clinics & Lessons
The tennis program at Sinking Spring YMCA offers clinics and individualized instruction for adults and children, from beginners to experienced players. Our tennis professionals and staff are committed to providing members and guests with the personal attention they need to enhance their time on the courts. Our instructors are focused on challenging and motivating every player level, helping everyone improve their game. We strive to provide every tennis player with a positive learning experience in a highly motivating atmosphere through quality instruction and programming.

U10 Tennis Clinic: Orange Ball
This clinic is designed for players ages 8-10 years who have graduated from the Red Ball series. Orange felt balls bounce higher and move faster than red felt or foam balls– a step closer to the traditional yellow tennis ball. Players will continue to work on tennis fundamentals in addition to learning to hit with direction, height and depth on a smaller court. A game-based curriculum will be used to develop the fundamentals necessary to serve and rally.
Player placement will be determined by staff evaluation at first attended clinic.

U10 Tennis Clinic: Red Ball
In this clinic, players ages 5-7 years will focus on developing the ABC’s of tennis (agility, balance and coordination), while learning proper technique at the same time. The Y provides appropriate size nets, racquets and balls to help build self confidence in the game. This level is designed for beginners; No tennis experience is necessary.
Player placement will be determined by staff evaluation at first attended clinic.
